Satisfaction in your job is more important than the money you earn.
All of us dream about an ideal job. But how to understand, that you have already obtained one?
Nowadays more and more people are looking forward to financial welfare. The money they earn is the key priority for them. They believe that money give them freedom to choose, freedom to travel, freedom to love. The money they would earn becomes the only thing that matters while searching for a job.
However, they don’t take into consideration not the least important feature such as satisfaction. It’s quite fulfilling for them to work being rewarded only with a good amount of money. And the lack of meaning at work doesn’t affect their emotional health, at least according to their words. They explain that money provide them with quality leisure, which helps them recover from a hectic rhythm at work, no matter how they hate it.
But as many people as many opinions. There are many of those who ask themselves questions such as, ‘why do I live? ’, ‘what benefits does my work bring to others? ’, ‘what will I leave to the society after I’m not able to work any more? ’. These people are not so money-oriented. They like to be rewarded for their work every day watching the benefit they bring to people, knowledge or skills they attain after accomplishing some project, challenging themselves and succeeding.
Satisfaction or money? It’s always been a controversial question. But everybody has the right to choose for themselves.
In my opinion we are not just robots for collecting and spending money. And you’ll be worn out very soon, if you work only because of money. We have to appreciate some values which are much more important than posh cars, fancy clothes and luxurious resorts. Doing your job is good to see the results: when you develop yourself and change things around you in a better way.
