NEW PROGRAM OF DEVELOPMENT INTERNATIONAL TOURISM IN PRIMORSKI TERRITORY (RUSSIA)
Primorski Territory has very favourable geopolitical position for development of the international tourism. The densely populated countries of Northeast Asia border on edge, such as China, South Korea and Japan.
To development of the international tourism in region carrying out of summit APEC which will pass in Vladivostok in September, 2012 should provide a new impulse.
Till now the low level of development of an infrastructure and low transport availability was the main obstacle in a way of development of tourism in Primorski Territory. But last five years the picture has started to change cardinally. During this period the government program of preparation of Primorski Territory to summit APEC has started to be realised. Now the program has entered the finishing stage. A program main objective is transformation of Vladivostok into the centre of the international cooperation of Asian-Pacific region. Among other projects: building of the cascade of the bridges largest in Asia; building of a large hotel complex; reconstruction of roads, seaport and the airport.
After reconstruction throughput of the airport of Vladivostok will reach 5 million people a year. Besides, Vladivostok enters an unprecedented mode for Russia of "the open sky».
As powerful impulse to development of economy and an edge infrastructure input should serve in 2012 of the second turn of an oil pipeline «the Eastern Siberia - Pacific ocean». The general extent of an oil pipeline will reach 4739 km, and it becomes the longest oil pipeline in the world.
The gas-transport system started in 2011 «Sakhalin - Khabarovsk - Vladivostok» which completely will provide with gas of consumers of Primorski Territory should become the important factor of development of economy of edge. Natural gas through Primorski Territory will be exported to the countries ATR.
One of the most perspective directions of the international tourism in Primorski Territory is ecological tourism.
Primorski Territory with its unique nature possesses considerable potential for development of ecological tourism. The area of all especially protected natural territories makes about 14 % from all territory of edge. In edge the system of especially protected natural territories is generated: 18 reserves, 2 national parks and one natural park. Here it is located about 300 nature sanctuaries attractive to tourist visitings. There are cultural and ethnographic settlements with which tourists can be acquainted.
Now near to a city of Vladivostok there is begun building of a gambling zone with a large entertaining complex. In Russia the gaming is forbidden on all territory of the country, except 4 zones. One of them will settle down near to a city of Vladivostok. The gambling zone can already accept the first tourists in 2012.
Against economic transformations acceptance of the new program of development of tourism in Primorski Territory with 2011 for 2016 in which the most perspective directions of the international tourism are designated was required.
On tourism development in Primorski Territory serious privileges are given to participants of the target program. They can count on granting of grants, budgetary investments and indemnification of a part of the expenses connected with payment of percent under credits.
