Если однородных членов только 2, то между ними ставится не запятая, а союз „и“. Ленинград уже давно называется Петербургом (Санкт-Петербургом, если точнее), Ленинград пишут для поддержания определённого стиля. Местоимение (я) опускается, если смысл предложения понятен без него.

Я изучаю (учу sounds chidishly in this case) русский язык уже полгода. Мне очень нравится ваша страна (It's great that you feel when it needs to insert the soft sign in verbs, and thank you, considering sense of that). Я люблю читать Достоевского, Толстого. (Too many Я) Хочу съездить (поехать – you can do it only to one place at a time. съездить - you can use it for many places via one verb) в Москву и Ленинград (The city St.-Petersburg has the name Leningrad only 70 years, from 1921 to 1991). Мне 25 лет, (я) живу в Нью-Йорке. Пока на этом всё. Исправьте, пожалуйста (sharp and polite sign of asking, Russian "please"), мой текст.
